If you had a rough and long week and you feel like to
recover… you should take a long and good night of sleep and after that, a
comforting American breakfast! The traditional American breakfast was inspired
in the British one, as you may notice. A full breakfast often consists of eggs;
meat such as bacon, ham, or sausage, scrapple, pork roll, spam, steak or
country fried steak; fried potatoes such as hash browns or home fries; toasts
or some other kind of yeast bread, such as English muffins, bagels, biscuits or
pancakes; fruit or fruit juice, and coffee or tea.
Last weekend, my friends and me had a delicious breakfast at
my place. We had a kind of lowcost American Breakfast: biscuits and onion and
cheese bagels with cream cheese, ham, scrambled eggs, slices of cheese, bacon,
pork sausage patties; pancakes with maple syrup, nutella, honey, jam; oatmeal
and raisin cookies, orange juice and coffee. Could you handle it?
Wasn’t just a breakfast, was more a brunch… We chat all the
afternoon and we had a lot of fun playing Apples to Apples game.
