Broad appétit is the best food festival here in Richmond. on
the past Sunday, June 3rd,62 Richmond restaurants set up tents along four-block
stretch of West Broad Street to showcase their goodies. You could have a chance
to sample their signature dishes or a desert for only $3, with some local beers
and wines. It was really amazing! I tried a grilled salmon with spring rice,
spinach and chèvre @ ‘La Parisienne’; a crab salad roll @Culinard School and Rum
cake for desert @Mama J’s cuisine.
The mission of Broad Appétit is to provide an affordable and
enjoyable local food festival, socially responsible and regionally appealing.
The Broad Appétit promotes amazing food, art, and music which makes Richmond a
great place to live and visit.
