Whoopie Pie
And for the last american classic, I chose the Whoopie pies, specially because of the name! ahah Not familiar with Whoopie Pies? Well, it's a baked good that may be considered either a cookie, pie or cake. It is a sandwich made of two round mound-shaped pieces of chocolate cake and frosting filling.
My whoopie pies turned it up a little fat! lol But they were delicious! Mocha Whoopie Pies!

Everything BACON!
Because BACON deserves its own festival, right? Bacon for breakfast, bacon for appetizers, bacon for the main course, bacon for drinks and bacon for desert! Can you handle that? I certainly can! And bacon in deserts, my friends, is the new thing! Just be prepared! :)

Broad Appétit Festival 2013
My favorite festival in Richmond: Broad Appétit!! What I can say? Around 60 restaurants from RVA offering the opportunity to taste their signature dishes or a desert for only $3 (sample dish), with some local beers and wines. Are you prepared to see some deliciousness? (I'm sorry but I'm incapacitated to describe the dishes..) Enjoy :)
